Finance House actively invests in a proprietary portfolio of Investments that covers multiple asset classes and is diversified as to industry sectors and geographies.

The investments span a range that includes listed equities, pre-IPO investments, Private Equity, Bonds and Sukuks, Fixed Income Securities and a range of funds. The investment portfolio has performed very well since inception and has generated superior returns each year, as is evidenced by our published financial information.

Our investment philosophy is to invest in companies it understands, while keeping its focus on medium to long term business drivers that are fundamental to such businesses.

All our investment proposals go through a rigorous risk review process and require approval by the relevant Committee of the Board of Directors. Post-acquisition, investments are actively monitored with regular reviews of their performance and as to exit decisions.

Our ability lies in developing innovative financing structures that involve a combination of equity and multiple tiers of debt. Our strong lending business makes for a healthy deal flow, and at the same time affords us flexibility in designing funding structures, thus giving rise to synergies between the lending and investing arms of Finance House. Our clients and investee companies derive much value from this synergy.
