Abu Dhabi, March 30, 2010 – Finance House mourns the death of Sheikh Ahmed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, who was instrumental in the set up of the company and its leading Patron. The Chairman, Members of the Board, and the employees of Finance House, offered their condolences to President HH Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, HH General Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, crown prince of Abu Dhabi and deputy supreme commander of the UAE Armed Forces, their brothers and all members of the noble Al Nahyan Family. Sheikh Ahmed was the managing director of the Abu Dhabi Investment Authority as well as the Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Zayed Foundation for Charitable and Humanitarian Works. Born in 1969, Sheikh Ahmed was the younger brother of UAE president Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan. He was one of the youngest business executives and was ranked 27th on the 2009 Forbes list of the world's most powerful people.
